Viktor Andaházi Szeghy

Viktor Andaházi Szeghy (1975) studied history and Hungarian language and literature at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary; later he started to take interest in political science and military history. After a short period of employment in the secondary education, he found a position in the National Széchenyi Library. Since 2001 he has worked in the Library of Military History of which he became the director in 2006. He defended his PhD thesis on 10 March 2010 in the Doctoral School of Military Science of the Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University. His research interests are the participation of the Royal Hungarian Army in the World War II and the military events following Hungary’s entrance in the war.
